If I raced Paris Hilton around the world I would most certainty whoop her ***. Things winding down here in Australia. I spent 6 hours waiting for my Mom and sister’s flight to arrive from L.A. on Sunday. It had been diverted to Novella Caledonia, a small French influenced island somewhere in the South Pacific. So we have spent most of their time chatting re-uniting, seeing the city well not so much, most of their time so far has been spent sleeping. So I am relinquished to the couch once again. BLAH, but seriously we have had a great few days.
I am heading home in less than 3 weeks, and I still needed to figure out my return flights, so we headed over to the Air New Zealand office to sort things out. And now that I have it sorted, I will be racking up more airtime then the hotel heiress herself in a two weeks time. I will be flying 10 times before I return home safely in Detroit. 10 TIMES!!! Here is how it looks. Brisbane –>Cairnes –>Dunk Island –>Cairnes –>Sydney, –>Brisbane, –>Auckland, NZ –>Nadi, FJ –> Los Angles –>Chicago –>Detroit!!! Finally HOME SWEET HOME. Starting July 5th and Ending July 21st I am going to spend almost as much time in the air as I do on the ground.
Anyways some of the best parts of my trip still lay ahead of me. I have fallen gravely behind in updating my blog and my photos. Bet lets be honest, did you really think I would have made it this far?
Sometime shortly after I return, we are going to have a small “welcome home/show photos on the projector/drink some beers/grill some food/say hi to everyone I missed/yay for summer” party where we will do all of the following. Dont know when yet, but I will make sure to notify everyone to at least give you the chance to drop in and hang out if you’d like.
